Sarah + Mike, Frankford NJ

Saturday night the only thing sweeter than the weather was Sarah. I think Mike will agree, I mean he’s OK and all, but Sarah looked amazing. These two are expecting really soon and their little one will have an amazing place to grow up along with two great parents.

Having fun with Petzval

A friend of mine, Jim Fisher, who tests cameras for PC Magazine, (how’s that for an amazing job?) let me borrow his Petzval lens for awhile. An all brass lens, manual focus, where you change you aperture by removing and replacing disc shaped as circles, tear drops, stars and other geometric shapes, it is not an all around lens, a specialty lens if you will. The out of focus areas are incredible and change depending on what aperture disc you use.

It is pretty awesome and very sharp, where it is sharp. Not sure I’ll pick one up, they are pricey, but it would look so cool with a groom or a bride smack dab in the middle of the frame!
