Summer is for exploring and swimming. Showing the kids all my favorite places this summer. Stokes State Forest.
I have photographed Savannah every year since she was a newborn. I couldn’t believe how big she had gotten. To top it off she was incredibly polite and sweet. Showed nothing but love to her parents and dog, remembered poses in photographs her mother showed me and even asked if I wanted to go swimming with her. I guess I am still cool to toddlers…
I grew up across the street from Jason. We use to play together way back in the day and his mom drove our school bus. No he and Bess have a gorgeous little guy named Quinten. A real charmer this guy, watch out ladies.
Gorgeous light, gorgeous house, gorgeous baby, gorgeous family. I love my job. 4 week old Colette was a little cold at times but she was a great subject who was quite interested in the camera.
My family has been a foster family for OSCAR Pet Rescue for a few years now. We take in dogs from OSCAR that need a home, that are from shelters where the dogs normally would be put down. Debbie and Cassie from OSCAR are incredible and have a huge network of people that help with this important work.
Kate has always wanted to do what we call a “puppy run” or “dog train.” Well on Saturday we participated in bringing dogs from Cincinnati, OH to shelters all over the east coast. Our leg was from Harrisburg PA to Sparta NJ. We left with a minivan full of crates, doggie treats, leashes, newspaper and paper towels. 350 miles round trip and when we met up with OSCAR and another rescue to deliver 5 dogs we ended up coming home with two to foster. Millie and Lulu are Chihuahua mixes and are quite possibly the best foster puppies we’ve ever had. (sorry other 20+ dogs) Here are some pics from the drive Saturday.a nice Sunday afternoon lazing about and a snowy Monday morning.
Photos by Kate and myself.
Meredith and Jake are running winter track with the Fredon Polar Bears this year. Thought we’d see if they like it. While it’s still in the air a bit… Kate and I are super proud of them.
I like winter light, I hate the cold.
Again, winter light I love. Bitter cold, I hate.
Gwendolyn on the side of the road.
Kate has been making homemade bread. It is amazing and the whole house smells good.

More track practice.
It’s a hardy family that schedules their photo session for January! While we did head indoors afterwards for some photos, the images outside are my faves. I love the snow when it is light and pretty.
I photographed Harper’s brother, Jackson’s Christening Party a few years back and was excited when their mom Lisa gave me a call about this one! This child is just gorgeous. I mean insanely cute! I’ll show you…
